The museum presents technology as a living part of regional history. Liberec and its surroundings have long been connected with industry, transport and technical fields, and here this legacy is brought together through specific exhibits. Visitors can see historic cars, motorcycles, bicycles, models and objects recalling the development of transport and technology in Northern Bohemia.
A strong theme is public transport and its history in the Liberec region. Outdoor exhibits, including railway technology, are also on display, and in recent years an exhibition dedicated to the Ještěd cable car has been added. Thanks to its location near the North Bohemian Museum, Galerie Lázně Liberec, the botanical garden and the zoo, the visit can easily be combined with other destinations in Liberec’s Golden Cross.
