From the viewing platform, a circular view opens up over Bohemian Paradise, the Jizera region, Kozákov, Trosky, Suché skály, the Malá Skála area, the Jizera Mountains and the western Krkonoše Mountains. Its position on the ridge makes Hamštejn a strong orientation point: you can easily see where Malá Skála lies, how the Jizera valley winds through the landscape and how the rock towns gradually rise into the hills.
The lookout tower is freely accessible all year round and works well as a stop on a walking trip around Koberovy, Besedice or Malá Skála. The Golden Trail of Bohemian Paradise also passes through the area, connecting some of the most beautiful places in the region and continuing from Hamštejn towards Kozákov.
If you arrive by car, it is best to leave it in the centre of Koberovy and walk to the lookout tower. The route is not long, and the trip begins naturally in the landscape below the ridge.
