Museum of Fine Arts Liberec

Museum of Fine Arts Liberec is housed in the unique building of the former municipal baths on Masarykova Street, where historic architecture meets contemporary art in a natural and striking way. A visit to the building itself, with its rich spa history, is an experience that draws you into the atmosphere of the city and its cultural memory.

The former municipal baths were built in the early 20th century, at a time when such places served not only hygiene, but also the social life of the city. After a sensitive restoration, the building became a space for fine art, preserving the dignity of its historic architecture while gaining new energy. Today, the gallery manages extensive collections of Czech and European art and offers a place to discover the region in a broader cultural context.

A visit to the gallery is complemented by the Design Shop, offering a selection of stylish objects, books, glass, porcelain and products by Czech designers. The experience naturally continues in Nordbeans Lázně, a café by the Liberec-based roastery Nordbeans, bringing the aroma of speciality coffee and a pleasant place to pause into the historic setting.
