The importance of the glassworks reaches far beyond the region. AJETO produces the Thalia Awards according to the design by Bořek Šípek, co-founder of the glassworks, as well as trophies for the world-famous Tour de France cycling race. Since 2017, the glassworks has been part of the LASVIT group, which produces part of its luxury design portfolio here – from lighting installations to drinkware and table glass.
Visitors can explore the glassworks on guided tours and, during selected experiences, create their own glass object under the guidance of experienced glassmakers. The site also includes the Glass Tavern, where you can extend your visit with a meal or drink in a setting directly connected to the live operation of the glass hut.
