Čtyřlístek Museum

The Čtyřlístek Museum in Doksy is a family attraction for everyone who grew up with the legendary quartet Fifinka, Bobík, Myšpulín and Pinďa – or wants to introduce them to the next generation. The exhibition presents the history of one of the best-known Czech comics, its author Jaroslav Němeček and a world where imagination naturally meets the landscape of Máchův kraj.

Doksy and its surroundings became the inspiration for the comic town of Třeskoprsky. Lake Mácha appears in the stories as Blaťák and Bezděz Castle as Bezzub, so a visit to the museum connects naturally with trips to places readers know from the pages of Čtyřlístek. For children, it offers a playful world of favourite characters; for adults, a return to a comic that has been part of Czech pop culture for several generations.

The museum is located in Doksy Chateau, so the visit can easily be combined with the chateau, a stop in the town centre or a trip to Lake Mácha. Those who want to continue can follow the educational trail Se Čtyřlístkem okolo Blaťáku, which links the comic world with the real landscape around the lake.
