Nový Bor will be illuminated by a firework of magnificent music, baroque brilliance, and noble charm.

Festive music that truly demands a grand space. On the eve of the Day of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State, Jana Semerádová and Collegium Marianum will bring to Nový Bor a program built on works by Jan Dismas Zelenka, Jean-Joseph Mondonville, and other masters of French and Czech Baroque.

The center of the evening will be Mondonville's spectacular Grand motet, which has not yet been performed in the Czech Republic. The demanding composition requires an exceptionally high-quality vocal cast – leading Czech and foreign performers specializing in historically informed performance of Baroque music are therefore heading to Nový Bor.
