One day we will talk about how we had a legend at the festival; for now, let's just be content with the fact that one of the best and most respected jazz personalities is coming – the Israeli double bassist Avishai Cohen.
Over the last 30 years, Avishai Cohen has developed into one of the most significant representatives of contemporary jazz, becoming a leading figure who inspires and transcends all conceivable boundaries. His music has influenced and shaped many music fans and musicians around the world. Wherever he goes, his name and music resonate for a long time.
It will be the same in Liberec. Avishai Cohen and his trio will perform music from the album Brightlight. His band will truly bring color and light to the festival proceedings and to the souls and ears of the listeners. The creeping autumn will suddenly be more bearable, and the celebration of the end of the jubilee year will be spectacular.
